The GCF Group’s commitment to Quality

For many years, the Les Grands Chais de France group has paid particular attention to the quality of the wines and spirits produced and sold throughout the world.

Today, the GCF group is clearly demonstrating its ambitions, not only in terms of quality and food safety, but also in optimal customer satisfaction.

Launched in September 2004, the certification initiatives have mobilised all of the GCF group’s staff and will continue to do so.

In 2006, our group demonstrated its leadership in terms of IFS (International Food Standard) and BRC (Retail Consortium) certification, five of our largest production sites, in other words a capacity of more than 2.6 million bottles per day, being IFS higher level & BRC certified to date. This result is the fruit of the desire on the part of the group's management to prove its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, and also evidence of the involvement of all of the company's members of staff, irrespective of their position or responsibility, in continually improving the Les Grands Chais de France group’s global offering.

In 2008, this now applies to six of our biggest sites, which represents a capacity of almost 3 million bottles per day.

The group is pursuing this initiative so that all of the group’s sites are IFS and BRC certified. Our aim is to become the benchmark when it comes to quality for our customers.
